What FanMatch is

FanMatch is a directory and discovery service that helps fans find bars showing the matches they care about. Venues can claim a free listing or purchase a paid pass for additional visibility. Payments are processed by Stripe; transactional email is sent via Resend.

1. Account use

You must be 13 or older to use FanMatch. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Provide accurate information when you sign up, RSVP, or claim a venue.

2. Prohibited activity

• Submitting false venue listings, claims, or RSVPs.
• Harassing other users, venue owners, or staff.
• Scraping, automated access, or attempts to bypass security or rate limits.
• Using FanMatch to promote illegal activity.

We may suspend or remove accounts and listings that violate these rules.

3. Venue information

Venue details (hours, screens, specials, match coverage) are provided as a best effort. Confirm directly with the venue before traveling. FanMatch is not responsible for changes, closures, or experiences at any listed venue.

4. No warranty

FanMatch is provided on an as-is and as-available basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, accuracy of listings, or that any particular match will be shown at any venue.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FanMatch and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

6. Choice of law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of FanMatch after an update means you accept the revised terms.

8. Payments and refunds

Paid venue passes are billed through Stripe under the terms shown at checkout. Tournament passes cover a defined event window and are not pro-rated. Refunds are granted at our discretion for service failures attributable to FanMatch; contact support@fanmatch.app within 14 days of purchase.

9. Email and unsubscribe

We send transactional email (sign-in, RSVP and payment confirmations, claim status). Marketing or recurring digests are opt-in and include a one-click unsubscribe in every message, consistent with CAN-SPAM and CASL. Transactional messages required to operate your account cannot be unsubscribed from while the account is active.

10. Data, privacy, and your rights

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, including access, correction, deletion, and portability rights under GDPR and CCPA. Submit data requests to support@fanmatch.app.

11. Termination

You may stop using FanMatch at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose a risk to other users, venues, or the service. On account deletion, paid passes already consumed are non-refundable.
